Shipping & Returns

Because we are currently liquidating our stock, your order will take 5-7 business days to be cut. We thank you for your understanding and patience.  An e-mail will be sent to you once your ordered has been shipped. If you don't get one, check your spam folder. If there is any problem with your order (e.g. product not in stock), you will be contacted by e-mail so make sure that you provide an email address that you actually check. Any refunds will be processed after your order has shipped. Again, because we are extremely busy at this time, we will process your refund as soon as we can. 

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Shipping within CANADA:

Within Canada, all packages are shipped via Canada Post. Estimated delivery is within 3-7 business days for most addresses. If your order is greater than $150 before taxes and after discounts, shipping and handling charges are FREE. If your order is less than $150 before taxes and after discounts, shipping and handling is a $6.99 flat rate. Your order will be shipped via the most economical method. Depending on the weight of your order, it will be either shipped Standard Letter Mail (no tracking number) or Expedited mail (includes a tracking number). If you would like to make sure that you get a tracking number, then we recommen purchasing postal isurance which will include a tracking number.  **Please note that for remote areas, extra charges may apply. **

 

Shipping to the U.S.A. (excludes U.S. territories and possessions):

Orders to the U.S.A. will be shipped via the most economical method. Estimated delivery is within 10-15 business days, excluding any time that your package may be delayed in Customs. The shipping and handling charge is a flat rate of $12.99 CAD. If you would like faster delivery, please contact us for details and pricing. ** Please note that for remote areas or for particularly heavy packages, extra charges may apply. You will be contacted by email if this is the case, prior to shipping. **

 

International Shipping (Outside of Canada & U.S.A.):

Currently, we offer shipping with tracking via UPS. Rates provide upon checkout. In the near future, we will be offering more international shipping. International shipping will be sent via Canada Post Surface Mail. Please note that this does NOT include a tracking number and is NOT insurable. It will take 10-12 weeks for you to receive your parcel. Fabric Spot is NOT repsonsible for any lost or late parcels via CAnada Post and as such will NOT refund or replace any lost parcels. The rates will be as follows. For orders less than $100, the shipping cost will be $50CAD. For orders $101-$150, the shopping cost will be $80CAD. For orders >$150, the shipping cost will be $110CAD. Please contact us for more shipping information or if you would like faster delivery.

 

Customs, Duties & Import Fees:

Shipping and handling charges do not include any customs fees or duties or taxes placed on the package. These charges are the responsibiity of the purchaser. Customs forms will be filled out with the actual total cost of your order and with an accurate description of the products ordered.

 

LOST PARCELS:

Please note that Fabric Spot is NOT responsible for lost or stolen parcels. We will gladly provide any tracking information that we have for your parcel and aid you in launching an investigation with Canada Post or other carrier for your parcel. However, we cannot reimburse you the cost for any lost parcels or re-send you your fabric. 

Also, we discourage our customers from using business addresses as shipping addresses. We have noticed that there is a higher incidence of lost parcels when a business address is used as opposed to a residential address. So to avoid disappoinment, please use a residential address. Thanks!

 

RETURNS:

Currently, we are liquidating our stock and are giving deep discounts. As such, all sales are FINAL.
